Heard at the horse auction and other Southern/country sayings

Here is how the auctioneer described a couple of horses in hopes of enticing someone to buy:

"This horse is as smooth as a thief in the night"

"He's as clean as a hound dog"

This made me think about Southern sayings...I grew up hearing some funny things and continue to hear them from time to time. I'd love to hear if you all have any to share that you use or have heard. Here are a couple that I remember

"She is cuter than a speckled pup under a pickup truck"

"Barking up the wrong tree"

"Go to bed with the chickens"

"Well, shut my mouth"

"To big for your britches"

"Sight for sore eyes"

"He looks like he fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down"
