USS Nashville goes to Africa



Most of us slow down a little bit as we grow older, but one of the Navy's older ships is about to steam full speed ahead for the coast of Africa. The USS Nashville will be participating in the "Africa Partnership Station" this year.

Although she's a little long in the tooth, the USS Nashville is still steaming forward. The Nashville will celebrate her 39th birthday on Valentine's Day.

On Thursday, she'll pull away from port for her final deployment. And the Nashville is going out in style, serving not only the United States, but a host of other nations as well.
