Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter Mary Gauthier will bring her award winning sound to The Belcourt Theatre, following the September release of her new album Between Daylight and Dark.Gauthier is the recipient of multiple honors including the prestigious Boston Music Award. She was named artist of the Year by GLAMA, received the Best Singer/Songwriters Album of the Year honor from No Depression and consistently makes “Best Album” lists. More recently, Bob Dylan honored Gauthier by recommending her song I Drink off of her last album Mercy Now on his XM Satellite Radio program.
Between Daylight and Dark, Gauthier’s second album for Lost Highway Records, released to rave reviews and finds Gauthier as honest, straightforward and provocative as ever.
