Kentucky Oaks

One down, one very big one to go for Todd Pletcher.

Horse racing’s leading trainer won Friday when 3-year-old filly Rags to Riches rolled to victory in the $500,000 Kentucky Oaks at Churchill Downs, the first step in what Pletcher hopes is a historic weekend at the track.

“We’ll savor this one,” Pletcher said. “But tomorrow’s THE one.”
