First Saturday Gallery Crawl

Saturday, February 3.
Various locations. Evening hours. Free.
Art galleries throughout downtown will host receptions and art openings on the first Saturday of every month. A free shuttle will provide transportation among the galleries from 6 pm to 10 pm.

"The Freshness of the South" features new paintings by Charles Keiger. "The Art of Romance" displays classic Valentine selections from gallery artists. Exhibits on display through February 24. Reception from 4 - 7 pm, gallery open until 9 pm.

Opening reception for the second phase of Evolution, the unofficial MTSU Art Faculty and MTSU Alumni art exhibition. Through the duration of this exhibit, artists will indulge in the process of change. The work on exhibit will start with a black and white theme. Over the course of three weeks, the artists will alter their artwork by using crayons as an added medium. This evolution of works will be revealed in the closing reception on Sat, Feb 24 from 6 - 8 pm. Opening reception on Saturday.
