Fried Green Tomatoes

1 cup flour
1/2 cup corn meal
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon curry powder
2 or 3 eggs (beaten)
3 medium green tomatoes, cut into 1/4 inch slices

Mix dry ingredients. Dip tomato slices in beaten eggs then to dry ingredients; coat very well. Heat oil in large skillet on medium heat. Add tomato slices a few at a time; brown lightly on both sides. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
