Take 121 Arts will be relocating on Oct. 1 to 3656 Trousdale Drive

Here is a message from Chad Hollingsworth from Take 121 about their upcoming move from downtown Nashville and also the architectural tour.
~Corey

Chad: If you haven't heard, Take 121 Arts will be relocating on Oct. 1 to 3656 Trousdale Drive, near Harding & I-65 in order to provide parking and better access to our creative art and framing. Yes, we are leaving downtown.

Please join us this Thursday for an Architectural Tour & BLOWOUT SALE in Germantown

Prior to the move, and in conjunction with Nashville's finest developers, we are hosting an ARCHITECTURAL TOUR & ART SALE in Germantown from 5 - 9 pm. this Thursday, Sept 4. Come tour some of the most innovative condos in Nashville and take advantage of 20 - 50% off on a huge selection of fine art. We are offering a broad range of pricepoints from classical to decorative arts and there is something for everyone with over 500 pieces of artwork for sale. Works will be for sale by all of our favorite artist, and you'll see some clever ideas in home design.

Condos on the tour include:· Fourth & Monroe· Morgan Park Place· District Lofts· Harrison Square.

I would recommend starting at Harrison Square & District Lofts at 3rd and Harrison near the Stockyard Restaurant, who generously sponsored advertising for the event. It is a short drive to the other units, or you can ride the shuttle provided by the Downtown Partnership. -What a great evening on the town, with appetizers and wine - and a great chance to pick up a deal on some artwork! If you enjoy "art crawls" then you will realy enjoy Thursday's event.

Since this is our relocation event, I would like to ask that you please forward this invitation to your friends, and cohorts, and help us liquidate some inventory before we move. Thanks to everyone who has supported our efforts on 3rd Avenue in the Old Associated Salvage Building. It was a wonderful part of our journey, and we look forward to seeing you in our slick, new joint on Trousdale!

Best,
Chad Hollingsworth
Owner, Take 121 Arts

Purity Dairy Plant Visit and Tour

Description
Purity Dairy is a 82 year old company located east of Music City. The company manufactures a broad range of milk and dairy products including cottage cheese, sour cream, french onion dip, and butter milk. We also process and package over 80 flavors of premium ice cream. In addition to this we produce a premium ice cream sandwich and a world famous Nutty Buddy at the rate of about 130 per minute, 5 days a week.

The tour consists of a 15 minute movie detailing the milk plant and all the processes that go on 5 days a week also. After the movie large curtains are opened to reveal our ice cream processing room. You can actually see where ice cream goes into empty cartons and the lid going on.

The show is topped off by viewing ice cream being placed perfectly in between two chocolate wafers to form our ice cream sandwich and then wrapped and boxed right before your eyes. The finished product is whisked off to our 40 degree below zero freezer.

This is all topped off with your own personal Ice cream sandwich freshly made. SEE YA SOON! Don't forget to call first! 615-760-2271 x 489

Not My Normal Kind of Post but Here is Britney Spears News

Britney Spears' disastrous appearance in Las Vegas killed a pending multimillion, 30-market tour deal, according to an insider.

"Everyone was waiting on that. The wild card was how she performed," said the source, an executive who was close to the deal with Live Nation, the world's largest producer of concerts.

"Everyone said 'no way.' She blew it bad," said the source.

Spears had hoped to launch her comeback, after a four-year hiatus, at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sept. 9 at the Palms. Instead, she's not only back to square one professionally, but her continuing personal unraveling may have placed her on the music industry's radioactive list for some time.

Rumor about the Jugg Sisters

C.S. Webbspun reporter
Webbspun Press

There have been rumors swirling around the city since this past spring about the Jugg sisters, Sherri Lynn and Brenda Kay. They are the creators and tour guides of NashTrash Tours. It was believed that Sheri Lynn had been in rehab for addiction to hairspray but their publicist continued to deny that it was true. I spoke with them yesterday during a brief break at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and got to the bottom of the story.

The truth is that they spent time in jail during that now infamous sabbatical. They were in the men's jail...Sherri Lynn doing hair and Brenda Kay providing "entertainment." Personally I think I prefer to think of them addicted to hairspray but I'm not the one with the "Trashy" lifestyle.

They do provide a fun lil tour of Nashville. Get out and get "trashy" in Nashville during your next visit. You can thank me later.
