Architecture in Helsinki
The name of this band goes along with my love for architecture and upon listening to the song, I found it to make me smile and chair dance. Enjoy this bit of fun, weirdness joy.

P.F. Chang's on a Sunday Afternoon
I always enjoy the quality of food and service at P.F. Chang's. I know it is a chain restaurant but they are consistant and delicious. Take the time to visit them for lunch or dinner and be sure to try the seared ahi tuna appetizer, it is a delicious dish and very unique. The Appetizer:
SEARED AHI TUNA- Rolled in Chinese spices, wok-seared and served cold with spicy mustard.

The Entree's:
CHANG`S SPICY CHICKEN- Lightly dusted and stir-fried in a sweet Sichuan sauce.
KUNG PAO SHRIMP- Quick-fired with peanuts, chili peppers and scallions. Our hot favorite.

My fortune:
This is a night for love and affection.

Dinner at the Omni Hut
It was like stepping back into time and going to the south pacific. Polynesian music, that I remember from my childhood, playing throughout the restaurant and the interior feeling like a hut with tiki everywhere and so much to delight the senses. You get lost in the moment and the experience is truly one of a kind. I kept waiting to hear "Tiny Bubbles" by Don Ho but I was happy to hear "Ukulele Lady." Ahhh gooooood times!!!
We talked to Polly, the daughter of the original owner and the current owner, and she told us a good bit of history and showed us some old pictures of the restaurant. We talked about where they find all the art, tiki and multitudes of things that cover the walls. Truly a nice lady and I'm so glad we were able to spend some time with her.
This is a b.y.o.b. establishment so if you want to have an adult beverage, you will have to bring your own.
What we had:
I ate the Tahitian Feast which was a mountain of food with a wood burning "pit" in the center of the food tray. Very unique, fun and delicious.

Wines for the Weekend
Two good wines that cost $15 or less. I like them both but the Bordeaux was my favorite because of the way it moved in my mouth and delighted my tastebuds. The Pinot was good but it just didn't send my tastebuds into a tizzy.
I highly recommend the Presidial Bordeaux 2004 and the Stormhoek Pinot I recommend for something good and summery without breaking the bank.
