Amish food at the Farmers Market
I bought a peach pie and some chocolate chip cookies. They were delicious!
I need an 8mm video camera
Does anyone have an 8mm camera that I could use for a couple of hours to get some video off of some tapes? Mine died and I need the footage. Thanks for any help.

Shawn Flarida riding at the Tradition reining horse show in Springfield, Ohio
Beautiful ride, as always!
Bryant Pace beat Shawn Flarida on this night
I missed filming his winning ride but it was great to see Bryant pull out a big win. He was overheard earlier in the day telling Shawn that he was the man until Shawn came along and one of these days he would beat him. That evening he outrode everyone, won and was the center of attraction. It was great to watch.

Chef Joe Shaw's turnip green recipe
3 turnip greens stemmed, washed, chopped
6 rashers bacon in julienne
1 large onion in julienne
1/2 C chicken stock
red wine vinegar
granulated sugar
salt
black pepper
In a large pot or roaster over low heat, render the chopped bacon. Add all the onion, increase heat and cook until the onion begins to brown, add all the greens and the chicken stock and cover the pot for 2 minutes. Open the pot and stir the veggies down. Cover and cook for 10 minutes more, add 1/4 C vinegar, 2 T sugar and salt and black pepper to taste.
