Titans stand tall and yes...PERFECT

The Tennessee Titans keep winning, and not even Peyton Manning could stop the NFL's only undefeated team.

LenDale White ran for two touchdowns, Chris Hope intercepted Manning twice and the Titans routed the Indianapolis Colts 31-21 Monday night.

The Titans (7-0) have won an NFL-best 10 straight regular-season games, matching the second-best streak in franchise history. More importantly, Tennessee grabbed control of the AFC South away from the team that has dominated this division in winning the past five titles.

Kerry Collins outplayed Manning, throwing for 193 yards with no interceptions.

Make the Trip to Lambeau Field to see a Living Part of Football History

The first place Lambeau Field hits you is right in the nose.

It's 9 a.m. on game day here, and already the alluring aroma of brats grilling on Weber grills is rarifying the eastern Wisconsin air. The smell wafts through the gray skies of a crisp November morning, drawing you into the Lambeau Field experience as if it were a trap play drawn up by Vince Lombardi himself.

No GPS is necessary to locate Lambeau Field. The telltale signs surround the 50-year-old home of the Packers, inviting you in to the kind of big-time football experience that happens only in the NFL's smallest city.

The streets around Lambeau – which rises out of a neighborhood that's part industrial, part residential – are named for Vince Lombardi, Bart Starr and Mike Holmgren.

Just a couple of blocks down Lombardi Avenue sits the one and only Tundra Lodge. The neighborhood McDonald's eschews the corporate-mandated red tile roof in favor of Packers green with gold stripes. A bridge in town is named for Ray Nitschke.

Bengals rout Titans 35-6



After emerging as one of the NFL's first-half surprises, Tennessee (6-5) has lost three in a row and its hold on a wild card playoff berth. The offense has been sloppy and the defense has lost its ability to stop anybody, giving up 28, 34 and 35 points during the slide.

This one really got to them.



Forlorn quarterback Vince Young sat on the bench by himself for seven minutes after the game ended, all kinds of things running through his bowed head.

"Thoughts, man, just thoughts, trying to see what's going on, what's the problem, what we need to do to get back to where we need to be at," said Young, who was limited by a bruised thigh and a strained ankle. "Why is this all of a sudden happening to us, going back to that bad feeling that we had last year with getting our butt whooped?"

Tennessee Titans Carried on the Legs of the Kicker Rob Bironas

“Have you ever seen anything like that?’’ Kerry Collins asked after the Titans beat the Texans 38-36 on Sunday. “I’d have to say that is probably the craziest game I have ever been involved in.’’

The veteran quarterback ran off the Reliant Stadium turf to chants of “Kerry, Kerry, Kerry’’ from a small pocket of Titans fans. Most Texans fans had left before the nutty ending, but those who remained watched their team rally from a 32-7 fourth quarter deficit, take the lead with 57 seconds to play, then lose the game in the final ticks.

Collins, who started and went the distance in place of the injured Young, engineered a drive that put Rob Bironas in position to provide the game-winning points with a 29-yard field goal — his NFL-record eighth field goal of the day.

Titans cheerleaders release 2007/2008 swimsuit calendar

The 2007/2008 Tennessee Titans Cheerleader calendar is now available for fans to purchase.

This calendar is the first one the Cheerleaders have produced since 2002 and only the third in Titans history.

“We are very proud of our calendar and excited about the business opportunity it presents for our department,” said Stacie Kinder, director of cheerleaders for the Titans.

Cheerleading calendars across the NFL historically have sold 10,000 units or more for each team. Squads use the calendars to successfully aid their brand in becoming more marketable in the community.

The Titans Cheerleaders shot their calendar in Nashville over the summer of 2007. Team photographer, Donn Jones, together with local photographer, Erick Anderson, worked tirelessly for two days, taking more than 5,000 photos of the 31 cheerleaders.

Anderson, who owns a Grammy for his design work, designed the calendar with impeccable attention to detail. Says Anderson: “The calendar involved hours of grueling work, but in the end, it was worth every minute.”

The Cheerleaders hosted a calendar release party at the club, “Lot 7” (125 12th Ave S. Nashville) last night.
