No Triple Crown Winner This Year

Curlin nipped Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense on the final stride and won the Preakness Stakes in a riveting finish Saturday. Street Sense seemed to have the race tied up due to another of his famous rallies, taking the lead in the stretch. He could not hold off Curlin’s late charge thanks to an expert ride by jockey Robby Albarado.
