Kevin and Donna are a duo from Nashville who book themselves as ..The Other Band... In part because the pair have always backed each other on their pieces and are known to provide sound reinforcement for others be it songwriters rounds, rock and roll acts, or even the jazz funk fusion of a jam band. They have played together for nearly a decade starting off with their earliest incarnation as ..Goodbuddy.. which fused rockabilly rebellion with blues influenced garage band rock.. While playing with others they have always retained their roots through what some would call traditional music. Donna Frazier who sings and is the bass player of ..The Other Band.. writes in a vein of traditional music that is soulful, emotional, and modestly thought provoking. Kevin Frazier accompanies along with guitar, vocals, and writings that reminisce the feel of rockabilly in its heyday and at times visits swamp rock with silly-billy country crankers. With the addition of drummer Bobby Thomas, they now have the thunder that was lacking the lightning duo. Together they somewhat disorient the senses with traditional sounds that have modern relativity. Their live performances are known to bring out the fun and abandon lacking in music today. With instrumentation ranging from acoustic and electric guitars, upright bass, piano, and percussion that is steady and obscure, their sound can one way be described as American Music.

Thinking about new modes of transportion due to the high cost of gas? Check out these funky bikes and scooters!

Over the years, the Pope has been driven around in quite a few different vehicles, which most people refer to as the 'Popemobile.'

The last time the Pope visited the United States, for instance, his ride was a modified Mercedes-Benz M Class SUV which had been specially modified to accommodate his needs. In fact, Mercedes-Benz has a long history of creating vehicles specially for the Pope, and now Piaggio has joined in as well. Piaggio's contribution, though, features just three wheels and is made from the rickshaw platform which is popular in India, where the vehicle was created.

A Michigan man has found his own personal solution to high gas prices in an interesting three-wheeled enclosed scooter which leans into turns from a Chinese company known as Xingyue. Before this story, we were not at all familiar with the company, though a Google search does turn up a little information.

Powered by a 150cc single cylinder four stroke engine, the scooter is capable of traveling on any road that is not a major highway and is fully street legal. The new owner estimates that he is getting fuel mileage of around 120 miles per gallon when he keeps it under forty miles per hour and 80-90 miles per gallon when he's really wringing it out.

SO you may be asking, "what is a Battery Box Motorbike"

This Motorcycle is one of a few bikes totally designed from the ground up to be a Electric Motorcycle.

A classic internal combustion engine (ICE) motorcycle has the frame built around and designed to hold the engine and this tends to dictate much of design and look.

The BBM-1 frame is designed around holding the batteries and storing as much energy as possible within the frame. To do that and free up the chassis space for batteries, some very innovative engineering needed to be employed.

Watch "The MasterSingers of Nuremburg" live online from Bayreuth, Germany

Germany's annual opera festival devoted to the works of Richard Wagner has set a price and it's a high one — $77.

The festival will show opera live online for the first time during the performance of Die Meistersinger (The MasterSingers of Nuremberg) that opens the event July 27.

Only 10,000 will be able to sign up for the online video. There will also be a free viewing in the Bayreuth public square.

The concept is a new twist for the opera world, where companies are looking for ways to develop young audiences.

I love this patriotic message

Okay call me corny or whatever but as I sit here this morning building 55 trophies for the upcoming 4th of July parade in our town a strong sense of pride comes from within. The column have the American Flag on it and are extremely patriotic so it has inspired me to ramble on a little bit.

Sure America is down pretty good right now, but as Americans this country will come back as we have many times in the past. I might not be able to bring it back but if alot of us, me, you and many others lift our heads up, pump our chests out, unite and take full pride in the quality of work we provide and do what we can to help stimulate the economy every little bit will help.

I was becoming very negative and going to retire, get out of the business and could care less who bought it but I am now energized and going to do my part 120% and more to bring America back up into its rightful place in this world. We have helped everyone in this world at one time or another and now our America is licking her wounds and we will help mend those wounds to make her the proud, beautiful country in the world envied by all!

This is my country, my ancestors fought long and hard working their fingers to the bones and spilling their blood to make her the great country she STILL is! We are a country of immigrants, Irish, Polish, Jewish, African, Mexican, and on and on from every country in the world, but we must join together as Americans and on 4th of July and every day there after be proud of who we are and make it known that being American and built in America still has the mighty meaning it always did.

Be proud to say as I am, God Bless America and God Bless each and everyone of my fellow Americans!

My closing comment, those that are kicking us in the face when we are down, beware, the Eagle will fly high and mighty very soon and we don't get mad, we get even.
