The Palazzo Celebrates Opening with Style as Newest Luxury Las Vegas Resort

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire-FirstCall
Launching with a spectacular music, fireworks and light show and culminating with a concert headlined by Diana Ross, The Palazzo Las Vegas -- the new $1.9 billion luxury resort from Las Vegas Sands Corp. -celebrated its grand opening this past weekend with a star-studded series of special events. Celebrities, VIP guests and media from around the country joined Las Vegas Sands executives for the historic occasion as the first new resort on the Las Vegas strip in nearly three years officially opened.

"This was a celebration not only of the opening of the most luxurious new resort on the Strip, but, when combined with The Venetian and the Sands Expo Center, the culmination of a vision to create the most compelling destination in all of Las Vegas," said Rob Goldstein, president and chief operating officer of The Palazzo. Woo-Hoo! JetBlue Airways Announces Fall Sale

The Official Airline of Springfield, today launches a special 15-day Fall sale for travel between September 5 and November 14, 2007, with fares starting as low as $139(a) for travel between New York/JFK and Burbank; Long Beach; Oakland; Ontario; San Jose; or San Francisco. Fares as low as $59(a) are available between Orlando, Florida and New York's JFK or LaGuardia airports.

Earlier this month, the low-cost, high-frills airline was named "The Official Airline of Springfield" -- the hometown city of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie Simpson -- to celebrate the summer theatrical release of The Simpsons Movie. In honor of America's favorite animated family of comedy, JetBlue also unveiled its first-ever specialty aircraft, christened "Woo-Hoo, JetBlue!" and featuring an image of Homer along with a permanent logo of its new Springfield status. To celebrate Fall travel, the low-fare airline is offering special sale fares for Springfielders and non-Springfielders across the country.
