Christian Stadium Event To Call For Repentance, Renewal Nashville

Organizers of The Call Nashville say more than 60-thousand people have registered for the Christian gathering at the stadium where the Tennessee Titans play.

The event's Web site says, "It's not a festival. It's a fast," so participants can't be sure exactly who or what they'll be seeing down on the field.

The Call Nashville spokeswoman Julia Richardson says there will be music and prayer, but the schedule of speakers and musicians isn't being released, because the free event is meant to be more participatory worship than entertainment.

She says it's being held on the date, 7-7-07, because seven is a covenant number in the Bible, and participants will be challenged to repent and renew their covenant with God.
