Real Love

Did you ever love someone absolutely and completely with a love that is there no matter what happens? Have you loved beyond words and conditions? I never did but I have for the last few years. My heart belongs to and with Andrea and is unconditionally hers.

First Day at the Cabin Fever Classic Reining Horse Show

This is the first day at the Cabin Fever Classic. This was a day of setting up and for folks to do their practice rides in preparation for the competition. A quite but really fun day for us all to be back at a horse show and meeting new friends and seeing old ones again.

BIBO Wines, Gauthier Family and So Many Others in the Tennessee Reining Horse Family

We worked, showed and enjoyed a very busy weekend in Murfreesboro. A Tennessee Reining Horse Association show is always fun and becomes more so for me with each show. I know more people, I know the patterns that they have to run better and I learn more with each show.

The scores could have been a little better for us, I could have used a little more rest and would have enjoyed more food but the sights, sounds and yes...even the smells are incredible. I'd say this weekend was a great success, overall.



We spent the weekend getting to know Sylvan Gauthier and the others from the Francois Gauthier Reining folks. We shared some BIBO red and white wines with new and old friends and we had such a great time. Wine truly brings friends together and it helped us this weekend as we all enjoyed the show but also worked hard.

I can't wait til the next one even though I couldn't keep my eyes open last night but now that I am refreshed and rested again...let's go.

I Met Her Mom and Sister

The love of my life's mom and sister flew in from Germany tonight and they were so tired and yet so incredible to talk to. I enjoyed it and I look forward to spending the next few weeks getting to know them and enjoying their time with us.

Horse People in Stitches Magazine

When Andrea Bobu moved her embroidery business, threadadventures, from Clovis, CA, to Smyrna, TN, early this year, she managed to bring all her customers with her.

“My customers are mostly horse people – breeders, trainers and horse associations – and although the types of horses and owners are different in both states, they share a passion for their animals and everything related to them,” Bobu says. “I own several quarter horses I take to shows. I understand horse people since I’m one of them.”

Most of Bobu’s orders are for hats and jackets, fully embroidered with at least three different designs that use different techniques, such as twill, sequins, leather appliqué and foam. The award jackets she designs and decorates usually include the horse association’s logo, award title and placing, and the year and horse’s name; the embroidery is placed on the left chest and the full jacket back
